In Remembrance

John passed away one month before his last exhibition at the Stratford Playhouse, where he had spent so many happy hours listening to music. The exhibition was a great success and he would have been very proud that his artwork was so well-received. His passing was reported in the local press.

June 2023

Unbelievably it has been three months since John passed away. I am so grateful to his friends for the love they showed him and many of whom bought his paintings in his memory. I love the fact they will be on show in friend's houses and a talking point for many years to come.

August 2023
Five months have now passed since John's death at the early age of 68. I want to thank the Stratford Arts Society who put a memorial together at the latest Art Exhibition at King Edwards School in Stratford.
John used to exhibit his paintings there every year and also be an 'artist in residence', talking to visitors while painting. It was very strange to walk around without mum and without seeing any of John's paintings this year.

November 2024
In November 2024 Amber Galleries in Stratford upon Avon started to exhibit some of John's paintings. The gallery had paintings by Hockney, Lowrie, Warhol and Banksy in the same gallery.
